Sacred Stillness & Sound: Monthly Sound Baths with Restorative Yoga
Second Saturdays, 7:30-9:00pm
Join Nicole Bratt & Amber West for an extraordinary journey of deep relaxation and healing: a 90-minute Restorative yoga practice accompanied by an immersive crystal bowl sound bath. Come explore the sacred, energetic union of breath, body, mind, and sound during long-held, passive asana.
Restorative yoga, designed to calm your nervous system, creates an environment for you to wholly relax and space for you to be with the shifting landscape of your mind and heart. Among its benefits are improved sleep, digestion, and blood pressure, as well as lower levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. The sound bath creates strong, resonant vibrations that further facilitate rest, healing, and transformation on an even deeper energetic level by allowing the body and mind to release stuck patterns and blocks. The cumulative experience ultimately enhances and harmonizes your overall wellbeing.
No yoga experience is necessary. Dress in layers; bring an eye pillow/mask and socks.
Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Grief & Grace: A Women’s Experiential Inquiry

Throughout history women have found ways to come together, to support, nourish, and love one another. In doing so, we have quietly, and most often slowly, made significant changes in our families, communities, countries, and the planet. We have done this over and over again. And yet at this point in time so many women are feeling powerless, lost, isolated, unsupported, unseen, unloved, and buried by grief.
The time is ripe to look within and inquire into our internal experience, the stories we tell ourselves, and the stories our bodies and words tell others. In doing so, our self awareness may expand, allowing for deeper wisdom, receptivity, and release. Join Amber West and Nicole Bratt for this three-hour inquiry as we unpack and discover some of the underlying energetics of grief and how we experience it. In this experiential gathering of women, we’ll explore a variety of practices for handling and holding grief, and investigate how we might better support ourselves and one another.
This session will include gentle yoga movement, journaling, meditation, Restorative yoga practice, and a sound bath.
Bring a multi-page journal, your writing implements of choice, and an eye pillow/cover.
Please wear comfortable, layered clothing in which you can move with ease.
